The recent work of artist Mike Varley will be on display for Bushwick Open Studios 2010. Selections include pieces from his clothing to canvas series, a listening station for his spoken word album “The Events of Election ’08” and the public debut of his recently completed Twin Canvas Project. His works are mostly mixed media, using everything from 1960’s road maps and sweat stained tee-shirts to stolen track work signs and gallons of craft glue.
